This Privacy Policy explains how TadPool ("TadPool," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website (tadpool.app) and our application (app.tadpool.app), together the "Service."
1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, business name, and the customer and job records you create in TadPool (customer names, service addresses, contact details, service reports, photos, and messages). If you connect a payment processor, that processor handles your customers' payment details directly - we do not store full card or bank account numbers.
2. QuickBooks customer import
If you choose to connect QuickBooks Online, TadPool performs a one-time, read-only import of your existing QuickBooks customer list (names and addresses) so you can use them as TadPool properties. We do not write any data back to QuickBooks, we do not run an ongoing sync, and we do not retain your QuickBooks access or refresh token beyond the single import. You can disconnect or decline this at any time; it is entirely optional.

- To operate and improve the Service, including scheduling, service reports, and payments
- To communicate with you about your account or service updates
- To provide customer support
- To maintain the security and integrity of the Service
4. Sharing of information
We do not sell your information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate TadPool (such as hosting, payment processing, and communications providers), each bound to use it only to provide that service, or when required by law.
5. Data retention
We retain your account and customer data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the Service. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
6. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices
You can access, update, or delete your account information from within the app, or by contacting us directly.
8. Children's privacy
TadPool is intended for business use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
